BLEPSI
BLE sensing and proximity where cabling is not an option.
BLEPSI is the BLE-based sensing and proximity platform. Battery-operated devices report readings and presence over Bluetooth Low Energy to a SPIGWAY gateway, which normalises the data and forwards it to SPIEngine.
Why it exists
Many measurement points are on moving equipment, in awkward locations or spread across an area where wiring each one is impractical. Wireless sensing solves placement but usually creates a fleet of devices nobody can update, monitor or account for.
